The Sharpeez unleash studio long player Automatic Mode, pulling straight into the Gulf Coast Records garage, a record that runs on instinct, attitude, and a brazen soul
There's no taming this sound it's the rush that leaves you breathless, the pull toward roads you know you shouldn't take but wouldn't trade for anything. Automatic Mode captures that restless spirit in full flight: late nights, loud engines, leather jackets, and memories that linger long after the ride ends. Like a motor fired up after years in a forgotten garage, the sound roars back to life - instantly recognisable, powerful, and driven by purpose.
At the center is Bill Mead, the unmistakable voice and heartbeat of The Sharpeez, a band long revered for blending gritty Rhythm & Blues and Rock with unmistakable
style and swagger with a lineage dating back to swinging London and the birth of Britblues! This album proves that true spirit never fades - it just waits for the right moment to surge forward again.
With William Mead leading the charge alongside Loz Netto on slide guitar, Baz Payne on bass, Brendan O'Neil on drums, and Teresa Revill on backing vocals, the album delivers passion in every groove. Songs burn with raw energy and seasoned control - fierce yet disciplined, polished but never restrained. Automatic Mode is a triumph of
attitude and authenticity, a brilliantly produced record that sounds like a band fully engaged, fully committed, and once again leading the pack.
