THE SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND'S GROUNDBREAKING DEBUT RETURNS IN GATEFOLD LP FEATURING THE ORIGINAL DIE-CUT 'FRAME' SLEEVE BLACK VINYL EDITION

Released in 1972, ‘Framed’ introduced one of Britain's most theatrical & uncompromising rock
bands, establishing the fearless musical identity that would make The Sensational Alex Harvey Band one of the most distinctive acts of the decade.
Drawing on hard rock, blues, vaudeville & music hall with equal conviction, ‘Framed’ moves effortlessly between the swaggering title track, the anthemic 'Midnight Moses', the expansive suite 'Isobel Goudie' & the incendiary finale 'St. Anthony'. Throughout, Alex Harvey's commanding vocals are matched by the exceptional musicianship of Zal Cleminson, Hugh McKenna, Chris Glen & Ted McKenna, creating an album that is as inventive as it is powerful. Produced by the band at Morgan Studios, ‘Framed’ remains a landmark debut—bold, unpredictable
& unmistakably its own.
This edition faithfully recreates the album's distinctive gatefold sleeve, complete with the original die-cut 'frame' cover revealing the iconic image of Alex Harvey behind bars inside, preserving one of the release's most memorable visual touches alongside this classic
debut.
