In 1982, at just 18 years old, Barrington Levy already held a solid reputation as a singer. Lantern Records appreciates his early work so much that it is a pleasure to reissue Poor Man Style, just as it was originally released by Trojan Records in 1982.

The album features the golden era's finest musicians, the Roots Radics, in fine form and produced by Linval Thompson. Recorded at Channel One, the album features expert in-house mixing by Scientist.

This is yet another essential Barrington Levy release from Lantern Records, you simply cannot miss these hot Jamaican sounds.
