GRUB’s self-titled debut album is a 9-track dive into the beautiful mess of being human. Backed by a powerhouse lineup of WA heavyweights, Matilda Beales’ songwriting is darkly funny, brutally honest, and utterly unapologetic, tackling everything from sobriety to purging hard feelings wrapped in B-grade horror imagery. Shifting from frantic garage-punk to infectious dark-disco, the record blends gritty rock energy with visceral beauty—a striking intro to a band refusing to be boxed in.
