Teenage Love is Cold Chisel’s archival album, released in 1994, drawing together demos, offcuts, and unreleased recordings from the band’s first decade, spanning 1973 to 1983. During that period the band was moving at such speed and intensity that a significant body of strong material was left behind.

The album came together when Don Walker and the band’s management revisited old tapes more than a decade after the Last Stand shows. What emerged surprised the band, recordings with a raw honesty and immediacy that matched the intensity of their live performances. Rather than reworking the material, the album presents the recordings much as they were originally made.

Teenage Love was initially released on CD only. It first appeared on vinyl in 2014 as part of the Cold Chisel vinyl box set and has never previously been available as a standalone vinyl release.
