Home Alone Music is proud to announce their fiftieth release will be a new LP by label founder Timothy Blackman. The album, Between the Islands, is Blackman’s first release in seven years (since 'Brightest Days' in 2019) and will come out on October 30th, 2026.

Between the Islands was recorded with a live studio band consisting of Blackman, Tessa Dillon (Mystery Waitress), and Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa (French for Rabbits, Dateline). Lee Prebble recorded and mixed their performances at The Surgery Recording Studio in Omāroro, Newtown, Wellington over three days in May 2025. Additional overdubs were performed and recorded by Blackman’s longtime collaborator Brooke Singer (French for Rabbits) at her home in Wellington. The album was mastered by Carl Saff in Chicago, Illinois.
