KSCOPE REISSUES THE PINEAPPLE THIEF'S CLASSIC ‘MAGNOLIA’ ON CD FEATURING A BRAND-NEW 2025 REMIX BY BRUCE SOORD. INCLUDES 8-PAGE PRINTED BOOKLET.
"The perfect blend of brains, brawn, beauty & exquisite songwriting... a modern rock masterpiece." — Dom Lawson, The Guardian

Originally released in 2014, ‘Magnolia’, the tenth studio album from The Pineapple Thief, marked a pivotal moment in the band's evolution. Showcasing Bruce Soord's expanding creative vision, the album flourishes with songs that are as brilliantly cinematic as they are beautifully crafted. With a dynamic sound drawing comparisons to Biffy Clyro & Muse, ‘Magnolia’ broadened The Pineapple Thief's appeal, delivering a devastating collection of 12 beautifully realised songs that pack a vast array of emotional shades & inspirational ideas into 47 mesmerising minutes. From the strident opening assault of "Simple As That" through to the cinematic sweep of the closing track "Bond", ‘Magnolia’ remains one of the band's defining releases.
‘Magnolia’ laid the foundations for the band's breakthrough years, preceding the UK Top 75 success of ‘Your
Wilderness’, the UK Top 40 album ‘Dissolution’, & the critically acclaimed releases that followed, cementing The Pineapple Thief as one of modern progressive rock's most respected acts.
Alongside his work with The Pineapple Thief, Bruce Soord has established himself as one of progressive music's most respected producers & mix engineers. As well as collaborating with Jonas Renkse (Katatonia) in “Wisdom of Crowds”, he has created acclaimed surround & Dolby Atmos mixes for artists including Opeth, Jethro Tull,
TesseracT & more.
This edition of ‘Magnolia’ is presented as a 4-panel CD digipack & includes audio remixed by Bruce Soord in 2025 & an 8-page printed booklet.
