Confrontation was the first posthumous collection of Bob Marley and the Wailers and contains out-takes and unused recordings, particularly from the sessions that produced Survival and Uprising. Completing the trilogy Confrontation was light and optimistic, and emphasised Marley’s spiritual beliefs and faith in Rastafari. The standout tracks are Blackman Redemption and Rastaman Live Up! (previously released in Jamaica as singles and re-recorded here), and the hit single Buffalo Soldier. Also included are enhanced liner notes including lyrics and photos, and the alternate version bonus track Buffalo Soldier. All tracks are remastered.
