Quote checklist

To help get your JB Hi-Fi Gift Card as quickly as possible, there are a few things you’ll need to have handy.

  • The device you want to Trade-in

We’ll need to know the make and model of your device, and for phones we'll also need the 15-digit unique number that identifies your phone. See the instructions on how to find this here. For other Electronics and Appliances, the serial number will need to be entered - this can be found at the back or the bottom of your device.

  • A valid NZ credit card

Your credit card acts as security for the upfront trade-in credit you will receive automatically. As part of the Trade-In transaction, you will be required to provide your payment card so that TIC Reverse Logistics can process a trade-in security pre-authorisation for the value of the JB Hi-Fi Gift Card issued to you.

  • A physical photo ID - either a driver's license or passport and you will need to take a selfie

For privacy and security reasons TIC will use your Photo ID and selfie to verify your identity.
